Cabin air filter replacement is not hard in many cars. It takes just 5-10 minute, where the glove box removal is the most difficult thing. However, Mazda 3 BL cabin filter self-replacement way is rather complicated.
The car owner will have to tinker with the battery for a certain time, decorative panels removing, as well as fuses disconnecting in addition to the usual glove compartment removal. However, each driver is able to cope with filter replacement.

Disconnect the negative terminal from the battery, first of all.
Open the glove box.
The mounting glove compartment screws are located under the decorative panel, which must be removed by unbuttoning it off and then sliding it to the left.
Now we can see 2 screws mounting glove box and then unscrew them while using a screwdriver.
Next, remove the glove box body.
Turn off the screw fastening the plug.
Then remove the plastic protection by removing 2 fastening clips.
Now remove the clip fastening the panel, located at the left passenger’s foot.
Then the panel can be removed.
Remove the fuse box by unscrewing the 2 fastening screws.
Then disconnect the connectors.
Then turn away 2 nuts fastening the box.
Now remove the box.
Unscrew 2 screws.
Disconnect the connector.
Remove the cabin filter compartment cover.
Now take out 2 old cabin filter.
It is better to wipe the cabin filters interior part.
Now insert new cabin filters.
Cabin with replaced cabin filter. Now put it all in reverse order.
You can paste cabin filters with foam rubber seal if changing them yourself. The bottom filter will be easier to insert (the top one does not fall down). One more benefit is gaps absence between the cabin and the filter.
