Volkswagen Jetta 6 light bulbs replacement
The current photo report shows 2012 Volkswagen Jetta front headlight bulbs replacement way. Parking light bulbs, turning, parking light, as well as Jetta 6 high and low beam replacement can be performed without using any tools.

- low beam bulb — H7;
- high beam bulb — H7;
- turning bulb — PY21W;
- DRL bulb — P21W;

Jetta 6 front bulb replacement way
Headlamp removing as well as tools are not required in order to replace the lamp. Just flat screwdriver handy may be required to remove the protective caps. The bulbs can be replaced according to the general principle: reach the cartridge, turn it counterclockwise, remove the cartridge from the headlamp, replace the lamp and set it back.
Jetta 6 dipped beam bulb replacement
Dipped beam bulb is located next to the parking light, near of the headlamp unit center. Unscrew the bulb plastic protective cover by turning it counterclockwise for a quarter. Now rotate the bulb holder counterclockwise and take the socket out from the bulb. Pull out the old bulb from the holder and then install a new one. Now insert the holder and rotate it clockwise for a quarter.
Jetta 6 front parking light bulb replacement
It is required to turn the bulb holder counterclockwise, pull out the cartridge and then remove the bulb. Now install a new bulb in the cartridge and insert it into the headlight socket previously rotating the holder clockwise.
Jetta 6 DRL bulb replacement
The daytime running lights is located below the dipped-beam lamp. Rotate the black plastic tongue for a quarter counterclockwise before the lamp removing from the headlamp. Then push and rotate a quarter turn counterclockwise to take out the lamp from the holder. Install in reverse order.
Jetta 6 high beam bulbs replacement
High beam bulb is located near of the headlamp body inside the corner. Remove the protective cap, then rotate the lamp base for a quarter counter-clockwise and then pull out the lamp. Disconnect the old lamp, install a new one, avoiding touching the glass or working in gloves. Then install the lamp holder back.
Jetta 6 parking lights bulb replacement
The parking lights bulb is located near of the inner headlight body corner. Rotate a small black base for a quarter in order to remove the bulb. Now disconnect the old bulb, connect a new one and install it in the reverse order.
Jetta 6 turn signal bulb replacement
Turn signal bulb is located in the lower headlamp body inner corner. Rotate the large black bulb tongue counterclockwise for a quarter and then get the bulb from the headlamp. Now push and turn the bulb while removing it from the holder. Then install it in reverse order.

Dipped beam.
Protective cover.
Rotate the cover 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
Remove the cover.
Dipped beam from behind.
Rotate chuck 1/4 counterclockwise.
Remove the chuck.
Pull the old bulb.
Disconnect the old bulb.
Philips H7 12V 55W low beam bulbs marking.
Front bulb size and DRL.
Rotate chuck counterclockwise 1/4.
Pull out the envelope bulb.
Disconnect the bulb. Install in reverse order.
Pull out DRL bulb.
Disconnect DRL lamp. Install in reverse order.
Install a new low beam lamp.
Dipped beam socket.
Return the cover to its original position.
High beam bulb.
Protective cap.
Remove protection.
The main beam is at the back.
Turn the lamp 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
Disconnect power.
Osram H7 12V 55W high beam lamp marking.
Connect a new lamp.
Avoid touching the glass with your fingers.
Main beam socket.
Turn chuck 1/4 clockwise.
Install the cap.
Turn signal bulb.
Black plastic bulb tongue.
Turn the tongue 1/4 counterclockwise and then pull out the bulb.
Press and turn the bulb 1/4 counterclockwise in order to disconnect from the cartridge.
Check bulb operation.
Check bulb operation.
